This Privacy Policy explains how FlingsterChat ("FlingsterChat," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use our website, random matching, profiles, messages, host interactions, gifts, coins, VIP services, support, and related features. 1. Information You Provide

Depending on how you use FlingsterChat, you may share information directly with us:

• Account and Profile Information — a display name, email, login information, profile image, introduction, interests, and region or language preference. Not everyone provides all of these when they first try the site.
• Messages and Communications — the content and metadata of text chats, private messages, support requests, appeals, and reports. Please do not include sensitive information in these communications unless it is necessary.
• Profile Photos and Videos — you should only upload content that you have the right to use.
• Reports and Support Requests — identifiers, the date and time, a description, screenshots, transaction references, technical information, and related correspondence.
• Payment and Purchase Information — amount, currency, purchase type, status, billing country, provider reference, and limited payment details.

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you use FlingsterChat, some information is collected automatically, which may include:

• IP address, device type, operating system, and browser type and version
• Language and approximate location derived from network information
• Referring and exit pages, pages and features used, and session time
• Crash and performance information and cookie identifiers
• Matching and interaction metadata and security or fraud signals

3. Camera and Microphone Access

Video and audio chat require permission to access your device's camera and microphone. Your browser or operating system controls the permission prompt, and you can decline or revoke access at any time. Text chat does not require either permission.

Live video and audio are transmitted directly between the two participants (peer to peer). FlingsterChat does not record the video or audio of your conversations and does not store that media content.

This does not mean an interaction can never be captured by someone else. Another participant could use screen-recording or a separate device that is outside our control, so avoid doing or showing anything you would not want captured. We may still process limited technical and connection data needed to set up and maintain a call, as described elsewhere in this Policy.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide video, audio, and text matching and operate profiles and private messages
• Translate text and process coins, gifts, and VIP services
• Maintain access, respond to support, and review reports
• Enforce our Community Guidelines and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Improve performance, understand usage, and communicate updates
• Comply with legal obligations and protect users, FlingsterChat, and third parties

Where required, we rely on an appropriate legal basis for processing, such as contract, legitimate interests, consent, or a legal obligation.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared in these situations:

• Service Providers — for hosting, infrastructure, analytics, translation, support, security, content delivery, email, and payment processing.
• Payment Providers — to process purchases of coins, gifts, and VIP services.
• Other Users — your visible profile information, and messages, video, or audio shared with the participant you are matched with as necessary.
• Legal and Safety Recipients — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, and address serious risks involving minors or vulnerable persons.
• Business Transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale, subject to applicable law.

6. Public and Profile Information

Your profile information may be visible to other users. Consider this before posting a real name, location, workplace, school, contact details, or images showing private surroundings — the Safety Center's guidance on protecting personal information walks through what is sensible to share with someone you have just met. Deleting content may not remove copies that other people have already captured or shared.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

FlingsterChat uses cookies and similar technologies for essential operation, security, login and session management, preferences, analytics, performance, and advertising where applicable. The analytics service used is Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Which of these categories you can decline, and how to do it in your browser, is set out in the Cookie Policy.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our rules, and meet legal obligations. Different categories of information have different retention periods — for example, transaction records are generally kept longer than short-lived technical logs in order to meet accounting and legal requirements.

When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take steps to delete it or to keep it only in a form that no longer identifies you. You can ask about the information held about you by contacting [email protected].

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. To help protect your account, you should safeguard your credentials, avoid sharing verification codes, use a secure device, review your browser permissions, and report suspected misuse. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your information
• Restrict or object to certain processing and request portability
• Withdraw consent and opt out of certain advertising or sharing

You can control how you use FlingsterChat and what you share:

• Manage camera and microphone permission through your browser or device settings
• Choose audio instead of video, or text instead of camera and microphone
• Choose whether to create a profile and whether to buy coins or VIP services
• Choose whether to accept optional cookies where required

Requests that involve your account rather than your data — a charge you do not recognise, a device that will not connect — are handled through FlingsterChat Help instead.

12. Minimum Age

FlingsterChat is not intended for anyone under 18, or the higher minimum age required in your location, in line with our Terms of Service and applicable law. If we learn that information was collected from someone who is not permitted to use the service, we may restrict access and delete the information where required. 13. Third-Party Services

FlingsterChat may link to third-party sites or use third-party payment, analytics, hosting, or support services. Their practices are governed by their own policies, so please review them before providing information.

This Policy can change as our product, technology, business, or legal obligations evolve. When it does, the revision date at the top of this page changes with it, and we will give extra notice or ask for consent where the law requires.
